I started drawing back in 9th grade when my now best friend came up with the idea for a manga style comic. So I started from pretty much nothing beside the normal doodling any bored lonely kid did while in class. I never found drawing instruction books to be useful. Consequently, my style is ill-influenced by any certain other. This also means that my style is pretty flawed, but some people seem to enjoy it and I'm learning.. slowly. I shall continue to hone this skill that I mustered up over the years until it is worthy of being published for the world to enjoy. Recently, I found myself sort of drifting away from the manga style. I hope to loosely base my style on it and give it more more cartoon property while maintaining some of the realism aspect. It's become very fun to do just in spare time. Given that I am actually decent and don't suck anymore.

So. To anyone taking a pencil or pen or tablet or.. whatever it is you use in hand, and getting into the art of manga or cartoon, I say You have to be serious about getting better, If you keep at it, You'll inevitably become better.

I'm open to critique. Anything helps. Don't wish me away, because I'm not giving up. lol Diligence. Or stubbornness. whichever works for you.
